So I was worried about my MIL and my messy house

She folded our laundry and changed the sheets. And made the bed in the nursery. She said she would have done more laundry if she could figure out how to work the washing machine. She also cleaned Matt's disgusting bathroom that I won't even use! LOL... I need to ask her to watch Anna more often!!

My MIL is the same way! It's a little embarrassing but awfully nice right? My MIL is a cleaning machine so it just comes naturally to her and doesn't phase her. Wish I had the work ethic and energy she has!

Ha, my MIL vacuums and spot cleans when she is here once a week, which I appreciate. but I know she also uses it to her advantage to do some snooping.

My mom is like that. When S was born she was so helpful that my husband asked her to move in.

So nice! Kinda reminds me of my aunt, but when she comes she cooks! Last weekend I went out & came home to meatballs, marinara & bolognase sauce. Ok, come whenever you want!

And today my Mom offered to come over and cook us dinner, but I told her to just stop by to say hi... I kind of feel like Thai food since I'm finally hungry!

A lot of people here b*tch about In-laws and parents overstepping but not me sister!

 

I thank God for my 85 year-old still-going-like-a-house-on-fire-mother. When she comes to  take care of Liam she washes and irons the sheets, cleans the house to a fare the well and cooks FABULOUS meals. I love her for that and for so much more.

 My MIL is a little bit like that when she is here.  My mother will cook but not clean.  Only because she knows I am a control freak. LOL!!

That's great.  My mom & my MIL are the same.  I feel so blessed.  I know a lot of people who can't say the same.
