We've had her about 14 months, she's 18 months old. She's been a great cat and always used her litter box. This past week, for no discernible reason she started peeing everywhere - on our bed, the couches, etc. We caught her trying to pee on the couches 4 times within an hour this morning.
Here are the only events that I can think are different this past week: I was gone for a few days, but my husband and kids were still there with her, we started her on a different cat food (she had been on a Purina-type one and we got a high quality food instead), we got a beta fish although I don't think she is even aware it's there.
Any ideas?
Re: Why is my cat peeing everywhere?
5 cats. 1 baby.
Get her to the vet asap. It is probably a UTI and those get bad fast.
