Help me find this wedding vendor (music)
My brother wants a string quartet to play at the ceremony and cocktail hour. The catch is that he wants them to play classic rock and eighties music like in the Wedding Singer when they play Journey. Lol. That's why I love him. Anyway, I told him i'd ask around. It doesn't necessarily have to be a quartet. Any string ensemble that plays non-classical music.

Any string ensemble should be able to do that. I taught orchestra when I graduated college (undergrad degree is in music) and there was a publisher Mona Lisa Sound that distributed classic rock songs arranged for string ensembles. If he gets stuck, I'm sure he could offer to purchase the music if necessary for a group, but I'd be surprised if it came to that. As a violinist (I don't do much playing any more, but I used to do weddings), I'd be psyched to do something like that.
