Intro & serged cloth diaper AW
I've been lurking here a bit lately, but I realized I should introduce myself! I started as a quilter (like my mom) and I like to sew small, manageable projects as gifts. I've recently been branching out into serged things and cloth diapers. My LO is almost 8 months old, and I'd like to start making her clothes a little more.
This is probably a terrible project to introduce myself with, since it was a "learning project" and I only blogged about it because Chuicafina asked me to!, but it's the only thing I've crafted recently :-)

(more pics and lots of "lessons learned" on my blog in my siggie)

Re: Intro & serged cloth diaper AW
Yay! You blogged about it. I'll go check it out now.
It's funny...when I first opened this post I saw you were from Boulder and my first thought was, "Oh, Shanbrite is from Boulder too...they should get together." Haha...seriously, I'm not a stalker. Boulder stuck out to me because my grandma lives there.
Looking forward to seeing future creations!
PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
Too funny! If your grandma lives in any kind of elder care facility, I bet we are neighbors. We live by a bunch of residential places for older people!
ETA: Jeep Doll, that would be fun! I'll page you on the CO board. Congrats on needing so many cloth diapers ;-)
She's not in elder care...still living on her own like a champ! She lives pretty close to downtown, maybe a mile away. When we go visit, DH and I love to walk down to the Boulder book store. Love it there!
Welcome!
And clothes are certainly fun -- can't wait to see some of those projects!
