I visited several years ago in the summer. Loved Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds. We are visiting at the end of March, so I don't think it will quite be the same.
Any recs for restaurants (all types and prices except ethnic food) or attractions on either the American or Canadian side?
Any great wineries you can rec? Thinking about doing a wine tour.
We are staying at Sterling Inn and Spa.
TIA
Re: Niagara Falls
nice hotel.
The KEG at the Embassy Suites. Great steakhouse overlooking the falls.
We've enjoyed Inniskillin and Strewn in the past - definitely spend a day or night in NOTL.
i loved staying at sterling and i agree with bal-KEG restaurant is nice.
if you both plan on tasting consider getting a driver or taking a bus to avoid the whole drinking/driving thing. otherwise we just stoppped at the TI kiosk and picked up a map and went to a bunch. dh loved wayne gretsky's winery. he doens't drink wine so there was tons for him to do there besides watching me taste/buy
i also liked puddycomb and some others that I can't remember the names of.
Konzelmann Estate Winery!
My heart is as open as the sky.
Read about it on the blog
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
Journey Behind the Falls on the Canadian side was really great.
NOTL is a must! gorgeous area. We liked Jackson Triggs
