Anyone stay up and watch the Oscars like I did? Comments? I was very happy that Christopher Plummer won.

I didn't watch too much of the Oscars. What I did notice is that Angelina Jolie looks like death with a whole lotta hair & lips.
I think Emma was acting. It was her first time and I think the producers wanted her to "over act" that idea.
Angelina Joie. Skinny Skinny Skinny and Wow when she was on stage to present one of the awards the pose she was in totally made me think "B!tch, Please!"

I did not watch the Oscars. Awards shows don't really appeal to me. I'll watch sometimes.
Have you all seen the gas prices lately? I don't think they're joking about the $4 gas this time. I think we will get to know the city really well this summer.
5 more weeks of class ladies! I might have a minor panic attack if I think about how much studying I'll need to do between now and then.

Yeah not to excited about gas prices either as we run premium and sharing 1 car we drive a lot. DH drives the most b/c of going to clients.
I wouldn't have watched the show this year but I liked it when Billy Crystal hosted in the past so really that was why I watched. I like knowing that the host is going to be bleeped and won't be to crass.
So they put so under another Winter Storm Watch starting tomorrow thru Wednesday. Looks like this time there could be more ice.
We got our home heating credit check in the mail this weekend so now I get to send that out to DTE.
We may have found a new office space that includes most utilities and the rent would be a heck of a lot cheaper than what we were facing before.
I'm having lunch at PF Changs today. It will be my first time there.
Thanks for the encouragement. I know I can. I've done it 11 (yes that many semesters) times before. I just need to get over the love of my big comfy chair and big screen tv with the fire place after work. I need to sut in the dining room or go to the library and just do it. Sacrifice now, relax later.

Did you hear about the accident on M6 last nght? B said it took him forever to get through it and it was on the other side of the freeway. He said they had closed it down.
Did nothing much. Went shopping with a friend on Saturday and got some stuff. Sat night - Sun afternoon I watched my friends 4 year old. I never want to watch Finding Nemo or Toy Story 1 and 2 again. Ugh. lol.
I have no clue how today is going to turn out. I got chewed by my aunt for stuff that is none of my business and hubby is playing a game between me and her. Not cool.
I dont want anymore bad weather!!!! But we have had quite a mild winter though.

My aunt sent me an email this morning tearing me from one end to another. Hubby seems to be enjoying it and trying to make a game out of it. He's on the naughty list right now.
I dont want anmore snow but we have had a mild winter.

Such a crazy weekend! Renee was a handful yesterday. She was super noisy in church and did not want to be held. Next week she'll go in the nursery. She was super goofy and moody the rest of the day. Nick took her to grandma's to play for a while, but didn't nap while she was there so she was cranky all evening. It was so nice when she went to bed. We had a few hours of peace before we went to bed. I made cupcakes last night too. So much work! Now I know why I don't bake very often.
We got our mattress set delivered on Saturday. I slept so good! I hadn't realized just how bad our old mattress was until we slept on the new one. It was like heaven.
Our daycare lady might be moving too far away from us, so I called around and found what seems to be a great place super close to my work. I'm meeting there on Wednesday. The new place would be cheaper, and closer which would be a win-win. She doesn't have any openings until this summer though, which is ok. Our current lady might not be moving until then depending on how the sale of their house works out.
I spent 2 hours shopping at the mall on Saturday and it was terrible. I didn't find one thing to buy for the meeting I have to go to tomorrow. I actually ended up buying an outfit at Target. I don't love it, but it'll work.
Target is awesome!
I chauffeured for the winter beer fest for DH, FIL, and DH's friend. It was kind of fun. In between I caught up on my herbal home study homework. Tasted lots of nervine herbs so I was in a mellow mood :-)
Yesterday we went to my parent's for lunch and then to Green Well for supper - they have a Sunday Supper menu that's $20 for a 3 course dinner, it was so yummy.

I am supposed to be leaving for closing in 11 minutes, and I still don't know how much I need to bring.
Today has been shitty, to put it mildly.
I'm not going to be any help, that sounds awesome.

Good Afternoon All.
Weekend was a mix of good and sad. Fun times at the Winter Beer Fest, then the visitation on Sunday and funeral today. Part of me hates funerals and part of me likes them. I guess it makes sense - you want to hear the funny stories and share memories and grieve, but you also don't want to face the reality of someone being gone.
Yeah, pretty much exactly when my sister is supposed to be flying in to GR... *grumpy*
