The nest was broken most of Friday, so how was your weekend?

The weekend was pretty good! Just so very tiring!
On Friday evening I took the kids to a family game night at Alex's school. They had a blast and it wore all of us out.
Saturday I spent the morning cleaning and playing with the kids until my parents came over to babysit around 2:30.
Then DH and I headed out to pick up a friend and go to the cook off.
It was so cold out there, but we had a great time. We even got home at a decent hour, so I wasn't hurting on Sunday!
Sunday, I finished up my laundry and read The Hunger Games. Other than that, just played with the kids and hung out with DH! And, of course, we watched The Walking Dead!
Ours was pretty good, other than the fact that I finally got the cold that has been going around. I felt pretty rough yesterday morning, but feel better today.
We cleaned house, did some shopping, had dinner with friends, made it to church & finished a few projects on the house.
The bonus: my floors are being fixed today!!
Friday was uneventful.
Saturday I did the Rodeo Run. Not a spectacular time but I haven't been running much. I did what I expected.
Sunday was church and dinner with my parents. Fell asleep during the Oscars.
Today is my baby's birthday.
Friday: Woke up with a very sore throat. Hubby and I took the day off and we had a great day just hanging out and spending time together.
Saturday: Woke up feeling worse. Had to be by U of H by 7:45 am to take a first time home buyers class. Class was done at 2:30pm, went to Walmart to do a little shopping then home to rest. Was really feeling like crap. Hubby went out with friends to watch UFC. I stayed home to rest.
Sunday: up early and headed out to Tomball to celebrate little BIL's birthday, got home around 4pm to rest. Had pizza for dinner and went to bed.
It was a great, exhausting, and eventful weekend!
Friday was Princess of Quite-a-Lot's 4th birthday (aka, Charlotte). I took her to school with homemade cupcakes and juice boxes in tow (she requested pink lemonade cupcakes with strawberry frosting) for her little school "party". I ran errands and then picked her up from school. My MIL, SIL, niece, and nephew got here, we fed the kiddos dinner, we ordered takeout, then hung out after kiddos were in bed.
Saturday was Charlotte's birthday party at Monkey Joe's. Step-FIL came in town to join us. It was a blast. Odear made the BEAUTIFUL and delicious cake, and we all had a great time. Relaxed and hung out with the family the rest of the day. Fixed fish tacos and all the fixins' for dinner and my mom came over.
Sunday we just hung out, played with the kids, ILs went home, we took a walk, and mama (that would be ME) cleaned up from the chaos of having five adults and three kids in our house for three days
It was good.
Friday: Swim class and then dinner at Candelari's.
Saturday: Birthday party at the Children's Museum. I really don't like to go there, but it wasn't as bad as I had envisioned it to be.
Sunday: Brunch with a good friend. Dave Ramsey class.
Friday night: 80s trivia night with 2 other couples, no kids
Sat: T had his first baseball practice. After that, just hung around all day. Low key. Sat night went to a small dinner party to celebrate a close friend's bday with kiddos.
Sun: nursed our hangovers. i went to a tupperware party and then we went out for our usual Sunday night TexMex fix.
It was a good weekend. Busy but not too hectic.
The weekend was good. We got home on Friday evening and the boys were SO excited to see DH. We missed him a whole lot.
We didn't do anything exciting really, normal errands/hanging out stuff, but it was really nice to be home. Now I have a mountain of laundry to do and a long grocery list, which I am trying my best to ignore.I went camping with Abbie and her girl scout troop. We got there Friday night and came home yesterday afternoon. It was a lot of fun for everyone, but today I am dragging. 10 2nd and 3rd grade girls will wear you out after a fun weekend!

Friday I went to the cookoff because DH was working the photobooth in the KILT tent. He was stationed right next to the wine people, so that was convenient!
Saturday, we had an absolutely fantastic slumber party for DD : )
We also had a good lucrative garage sale that morning, got rid of a LOT, and made about $500, even after I paid my neighbor 20% to run it after we got it set up (I went back to bed because I knew I'd be up late with that slumber party).
Sunday, once the girls went home, I cleaned up, hung out with DH (first time in forever that we have had Sunday hang-out-on-the-couch time), and took a nap.

C'mon nest....you can't be down on a Friday!
We had a birthday party, wedding shower and baby shower all at 11 am on Saturday. I made an appearance at the family wedding shower to set up and drop off the gift/app, drove to the baby shower and DH and DD attended the bday party. We ate awesome BBQ with the neighbors Saturday night.
We ran some errands Sunday morning. Had an early nap and headed to a zoo bday party in the late afternoon. Visited Jus Mac on the way home.
And, its Monday....
