I have never owned one before and would be using it to make baby food as well as general uses. Thanks!

Re: Rec your food processor
I have a KitchenAid food processor. It is 12 cups and it also has a 4 cup mini bowl. I love it and use it all the time.
You can't go wrong with a Cuisinart or a KitchenAid.
I think this Cuisinart buying guide is useful for comparing different Cuisinart models.
Make sure to get one that is big enough. I got a mini-prep that is about 3 1/2 cups and it is just too small. I now also have a 7 cup that is much more versital. Although I use them both (sometimes the small one is just easier) if I could only keep one it would be the larger one for sure. There where times when I would have to process half a batch of something, put it in a bowl and then do the other half. Huge pain.
