I need some "off the record" advice. I have a former client (I am a wedding planner) who is threatening to sue me but I don't think she has a leg to stand on. Wondering if I am right and if I need to seek legal counsel. To keep it off here please email me princessannie122 at yahoo dot com. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
Re: NCR: Anyone a lawyer??
You probably aren't getting any responses, because at least in my state its unethical for attorneys to give advice on public message boards.
Good Luck and I hope the attorney you speak to is able to give you the answers you want.
I don't know why you're hating on MM. No one was mean or rude to you. Everyone just pointed out that (a) you need to contact a lawyer in your jurisdiction and (b) lawyers have ethical obligations that prohibit them from answering your question even "off the record."
