this is cletus, also called "the clete". he is the smarter of the two dogs, despite a tongue that is too big for his mouth and making it look like he suffered a stroke.
the clete likes people, swimming, and sucking on tennis balls while rhythmically moaning.
this is the skeets. what started as an alter ego for the clete when things at home went awry, skeets was gleefully brought into our home as a playmate for the never satisfied clete. however, skeets may be mildly retarded so he never really plays or does anything beyond looking cute and randomly licking couch cushions or freshly lotioned legs.
sometimes my husband kisses him on his mouth and i gently remind him about one of skeets' favorite activities when he's roaming around the street by using my dog voice and saying "i lick poop."

Munchie's back for another year despite her humiliating defeat in round 1 last year. She's hoping that her winning smile, new haircut, and clean face will be what she needs to carry her through to round 2 and beyond. She loves cheese, meat, bacon, and snuggles.
Munchie hasn't always lived the charmed life. At the tender age of 1, she found herself cast out and abandoned when her beloved owners passed away. After spending three months in a shelter, she came out changed. "The things you see in there," she says. "They change you. They make you hard, edgy, angry." But a year and a half later, she's proud to have found her center and to have finally gotten clean of her debilitating Advil addiction. She hopes to be an inspiration to struggling dogs everywhere and to show them that they, too, deserve a second chance.
