Maybe the reason CW is sucessful is BECAUSE she treats people the way she treats me.

Do Witchy-poos have a better shot at climbing the career ladder? WDNT?
(And can woman who uses the term "witchy-poo" ever hope to be one and get ahead?)
Re: WDNT - Discuss
I get how some people might find the bitchy tactic helps them get ahead... but to that I say, "Jesus, how do you sleep at night?"
I suppose at the end of the day I'd rather be a generally pleasant person to work with - one who actually adds rather than subtracts from the lives of those around me - instead of being known as a hardass or a witchy-poo.
Case in point: I worked for the most tyrannical, micromanaging and douchebagnozzle boss for a few years. Although I was handsomely compensated for it, he made each day one of walking on eggshells. Yet he was insanely successful, wealthy and seemed to have much sway around the Denver jet setters.
I cannot find that guy anywhere now. No businesses he used to run/own are still in business, no listing for him anywhere (and his name was pretty unique) - the dude is gonzo. And yet he still leaves behind him a wake of prior staff who are not only glad to be out of his sight, but are also glad to know nothing of him now.
So I hold with the idea that there is in fact a fiery chasm that eventually swallows those jerks up and leaves us sunshine-n-rainbows people the earth to rule and dominate in their stead.

In general I do think that a lot of jerks become very successful. Sometimes that turns around and karma comes around to them, and other times not.
My mom works with this guy who is a complete a-hole. He is a huuuuuge jerk to everyone (like, screams at the people who are paying him and makes everyone feel like crap). He really thinks that screaming at people and demeaning them motivates them to do better. A few years ago he was at the absolute top of his field and people came from all over the world to work with him. He was extremely successful for several years. Eventually, people started getting sick of it and a lot of people didn't want anything to do with him any more. He's still working and definitely isn't destitute or anything, but things are nowhere near how they once were. His reputation is well known.
