Does anyone know if the Royal Mile Pub in Wheaton has reopened?  They were closed for renovations.  My DH likes it there just wondering if anyone lived close and knew if it was open again.

I don't think that it was really "renovations". Supposedly the guy who took over a few years ago got in over his head and there was some serious debt (and a lot of his staff were not being paid). Who knows if they will reopen or not....

We are regulars at Limerick and by the sound of things, I doubt it'll reopen, unless someone buys it. Someone was stabbed there over the summer too... Personally, Limerick is leaps and bounds better than Royal Mile.

Yeah... anytime I went there I was super skeeved out.  Limerick opened at the perfect time!
