Freakin' MIL.
We have asked her to not have the kids watch TV if they're in her care on weekdays. She typically only has Georgia on her own on Mondays and some Fridays.
Today I come home to find she has let Georgia nap on her (MIL's) bed, while she has the TV on. And she leaves her TV on all.fuccking.day. So Georgia wakes up as I come in, and MIL goes to start a fire in the sunroom. I turn the TV off to try to wake Georgia up. I walk out to get her pants, and when I walk in a minute later, MIL has entered the room, turned the TV back on, and left again promptly. She fuccking turned the TV on and didn't even stay in to watch it - it's like she was saying, "Um yeah, I'll put that TV on in front of your kid whenever I damn well want."
And she's about to encounter my wrath. Once those kids are in bed, I am descending and I don't give a flying fucck whose mother or grandmother she is.
This after DH reminder her again last week to please not have the kids watch TV if they're hovering in her room - to which she raspberried at him. This is what we're now dealing with. She hasn't said a word to him since then.
ETA: I don't care what it takes. I'm going to take on more part-time work if I have to so G doesn't have to be subject to a person's care who puts more precedence on a television than my child or my parental wishes. DONE.

My MIL is the same way. TV is always on. It's been hard to retrain DH but we've been mostly successful in NOT having the TV on all day every day. Here's a great video on the TV kids watch. I learned so much from this and have passed it along to those who watch Emma so that they understand where I'm coming from and what's ok for her to watch.
