Foodbuzz "Impressions"
When comparing my Google Analytics pageviews to my FoodBuzz revenue, Foodbuzz is coming in 28% lower than I had expected for January. Should I be looking at "unique visitors" or "visitors" instead?
Re: Foodbuzz "Impressions"
I thought it was based on pageviews from all (US) visitors, not just unique visitors. 28% is quite a bit. On their website it says you should contact them if there is any variance over 15%.
lol - well that's good! I usually just do an estimate of the US visitors and multiply by the pages per visit, because otherwise figuring out Google Analytics takes too long (for me at least). It's not 100% accurate, but close enough.
I feel like an idiot admitting it, but I just never was very good at reading google analytics. I feel like statcounter is much more user friendly. The free version only has details for the last 500 pageviews, but it still keeps counting. I can't help but look at it a few times a day anyway.
Okay. This makes sense. I did that and now they're coming up 8.5% below. Hm. I will see how this month's is calculated and see if there seems to be another big discrepancy between GA and FB and then contact them.
Thanks, ladies!
