I have a kitty sleeping on my chest
Super Kitty has been following me around all day. She's now laying on my chest in a ball sleeping. She's such a love bug. My husband has been making fun me telling me I got my little girl since we have 4 boys and are done
Re: I have a kitty sleeping on my chest
5 cats. 1 baby.
Aww, G sleeps on my chest, too, though lengthwise, not in a ball. All 26 pounds of her. She'll also put a paw on either side of my head and start licking my face when she gets bored, pawing my face back down on the pillow when I try to escape.
SN: Ndolehan, your new sig pic looks delish! Did you make that?
Thanks! I did make them! I work in a hotel's kitchen and make all the desserts (well, almost all. We do buy desserts when we have banquets of a couple hundred people...) I make A LOT of cupcakes! For Easter and Mother's Day we have a huge brunch and I make about 1,000!
PR: I also love snuggly kitties! Sometimes, I wish Rosco would snuggle more. He's become more snuggly since he's gotten older, and even though he drives me nuts, I love his high energy!
Yum! feel free to update your sig pic with your creations anytime, I'll just hang out here at my desk drooling.
I second that! I can't figure out why my signature won't update. Every time I try it says there's an error. This one is from last summer when my twins turned 5 and my little one turned 3. They are now 6 and 4.
I have a question about doing the icing on the cupcakes. How do you get them to swirly? I've been baking and decorating cakes/cupcakes for about a year and a half. My cupcakes don't look that nice. I do more cakes than cupcakes but really enjoy cupcakes a lot more. My sister asked me to make my niece's birthday cake next weekend. My sister asked for Sesame Street cupcakes and I want them perfect for my niece's 1st birthday.
I'll have to do a PIP post of a bunch of stuff and you can just bookmark it so you can look at it all the time
It's actually super easy and fast! The only "down" side is you end up with a bunch of frosting on the cupcake, but everyone loves frosting, right? It's the best part!
I use a pastry bag (i prefer cloth/reusable bags) and a large star tip (HERE is a set with bag and tip). I pipe a rosette on top of each cupcake (HERE is a how to video in case you have no clue what I'm talking about)
Let me know if you need/want and recipes, I'm more than happy to PM you and share! I have a killer cream cheese frosting!
