He is still bedridden but is getting better. He is very frustrated so we are working on that also. 6 months was last week and it was a reality check for us. We thought for sure he would be walking by 6 months. Learning to appreciate the small things!
My birthday weekend was AMAZING! My best friend had called Hotel Contessa and told them about my birthday and what was going on in my life. They treated me soooo amazing! I felt so special. Had one of the best meals of my life at Boudros! Sooo good!
Another good thing that came out of the weekend was my father in law realized he could help out. I now get one weekend off a month. He is going to come stay with Keith and I get a break. Between running my bakery, helping run Keith's business and being his full time caregiver...I was on edge. Now I get a weekend to do NOTHING.
I ended up just going to my parent's vacation home here in New Braunfels for February. I read, took bubble baths, ate cereal for dinner....loved it!
