Come In if you are familiar with Pittsburgh

DH and I are going there for a weekend in April for his 35th to see the Pirates play.  We are looking for restaurant reccs...italian, american, steakhouses mainly.  Primanti Bros is already on our list.  Anywhere else we should go?  Also, dessert places...we love dessert, but who doesn't :)

  • Bettis' restaurant is right between the ball park and Heinze field, you could walk there after the game.  Its not fancy but its a good bar restaurant.
  • Love Pittsburgh! When I graduated from college there, the go to fantastic view restaurant was Georgetown Inn. You have to take the train up the mountain so its a fun experience. Cant tell you anything recent though, but have fun!

  • Lidia has a restaurant out there that we went to over the summer that was very good. I think they had steak? Southside also has some fun places to check out. The casino next to the stadium is also a lot of fun but be warned that they do allow smoking.
  • We drove out there for our anniversary last year in September for the season opening game...had soo much fun (we were amoung our fellow Steelers fans)!

We went to Jerome Bettis' place which was great.

    Church Brew Works....cool place...great food.

Went to the Tilted Kilt right after the game......bar-ish food.....but great atmosphere.

  • My parents live in Pittsburgh and we visit a few times a year.  Personally I really liked Tamari. It is asian fusion, however if you like american food more..go to monteray bay on top of mt washington.  It has a lovely view and its a great date night restaurant.
