Halloween Weekend

Ok ladies, shall we try a fresh start??

What's everyone doing this weekend? DH & I will be around the G'ville area,-giving out candy tomorrow night, working around the house/watching college football on Saturday and who knows what on Sunday-DH's buddy might come down, or might not-it'll be a last minute thing-but either way it's shaping up to be a good weekend.
BTW- this is a bit late, but I started a new job w/ AAA this week and so far it's going great-membership recruitment/sales and setting up trips/reservations/passes for those taking roadtrips. So far so good!!! Big Smile

Mrs S- as far as your question about safe neighborhoods-I know Simpsonville's a bit of a haul for you all, but our neighborhood's pretty safe. I'm thinking that Mrs Z's neighborhood would be a great one to trick-or-treat in as well.

I hope you have a wonderful RELAXING evening!! Smile

Re: Halloween Weekend

  • We are going to hand out candy tomorrow and then head  to a halloween party.  Saturday I'm making DH finish some stuff that we started months ago on the house and then we're heading to another halloween party down the street.

DH is going as a knight (whose sheild, breastplate and sword all came from the dollar store) and I'm thinking of wrapping myself in saran  wrap and calling myself leftovers (yes! with clothes underneath - dh was so concerned).   What do you guys think?!?

  • I'm actually going to a Women of Faith conference up in Greensboro.  I've never been, so I'm not sure what to expect.  I think it will be nice, I just wish it wasn't on Halloween!  Then Sunday I am going out with family for my aunt's birthday.

  • sorry about that ladies...that was just rude, they get all huffy and in stalker-mode if you ignore them, but then yell if you responde. Anyways... I am going to my church's Halloween Carnival tonight and then tomorrow night I'm having my Haloween party.

I'm the last post I ATTEMPTED (lol) to ask if anyone knew any good, safe neighborhoods to trick or treat in b/c my sister was wanting to take my niece...anyone know of any?

  • No, you're rude.

YOU get all huffy and in stalker mode - did you forget?

  • P.S. - Respond does not have an e on the end.  That's the 2nd time I've seen you spell it that way.  HTH!

  • Psst...Wifey...Maybe she's trying to write with a fake french accent?
  • yeah my neighborhood of Windsor Forest would be a great neighborhood because the houses are pretty close together and the families are pretty much middle class so the candy should be decent.  We're handing out individual size bags of chips!

  • Mrs S-both MrsZ's and my neighborhood-Jonesville Landing are really great neighborhoods for trick or treating.
Hope you all had a wonderful Friday and that your weekend is fun and issue free. Big Smile
