Kate - at my previous job they told us during orientation that we could drink on our lunch hour, but to keep it under control. I had a beer at lunch probably 50% of the time. It was great!
Laura - did you have your thirty-one party this past weekend? If so, how did it go?

He's asleep right now so I just scarfed down lunch thinking he would wake up while I was eating. We were supposed to go meet a Mommy/Baby group this morning but it was rainy and it was supposed to be at a park. I am still sad about it. This is my last week of maternity leave.
It was great! It was alot of family/friends so I wasn't as nervous as I thought.I'm going to close out my party today so I can get the order in for tomorrow. Thanks for asking!!
I ended up baking cupcakes and bought brownies and cookies. I'll show you my dessert table. I also made a mimosa recipe from pinterest and put out wine and tea as well.
I don't know if anyone would say anything, but I think going to the bar by myself in the middle of the day is kind of sad, haha.

I'm here. Freezing my ass off at work in a stupid trailer that takes forever to heat up bc my company doesn't want to pay for the generator to run all night.
On another note I realized last night I have a new celebrity tv crush, on someone who is NOTHING like my type but for some reason I am now harboring a school girl crush on .... Even more astonishing is the fact that I now love this show. The first 3 times I tried to watch it I told me husband it was a sad waste of my life and that I'd never watch it again .......
Anyone watch The Big Bang Theory? Lol Jim Parsons? Yeah.

Extra large cupcakes sound like my kind of cupcake!
I also enjoy the Big Bang Theory. My Physics students love it when I play clips for them in class, my favourite to use are when Sheldon teaches Penny Physics and when Sheldon dresses up as the Doppler Effect for Halloween! I don't watch consistently though.
I had a playdate at the mall today with some friends so that was good. I love eating mall food! It's all the loveliness of fast food with so many options in one place
I'm home now though. Right now I'm trying to get Mackenzie down for a nap so I can do some stuff around the house. I'd like to go to yoga tonight, but it just depends if B gets home from work in time.
Haha yeah I love those episodes too. We are on season 3 now. It's so funny, around Christmas my DH was so excited bc they were 50% off. I asked him to not waste our money on such a ridiculous show! He ended up buying season 1 and asked that I just watch one episode with him. I begrudgingly did so...with plenty of my own commentary on how stupid all of the characters were.
Anyone care to venture a guess on who was the one begging to go to target before they closed the other night so we could buy season 3? Any one care to guess who was the one that said "I don't care if it's $35.00 we need to buy it!". Lol yeah, that was me. The show just cracks me up! And Jim Parsons was my LEAST favorite character. Now I love him. Lol
