Free Animals Box.

So for the past few weeks, Hobbes has been waking us up with licking/grooming, etc at something like 3am.  I complained about that last week.  Well, for the last couple nights, he stopped and DH and I have been sleeping better.  Yay, right?

WRONG.  This morning, at 5:15am (which is about 25 minutes before the alarm goes off), I woke up abruptly.  Why, you might ask?  Because as a result of unknown circumstances, Cat and Hobbes decided that beating up Dot directly next to my bed (and on it, but that came later) would be a grand idea.  This resulted in lots of angry cat noises and Dot's barks of pain/desperation/panic.  Talk about a wake-up call!  By the time we figured out what was going on and turned the light on, the poor thing was huddled and shaking in the corner.

I think this started due to Dot possibly needing to pee, so she was headed to my side to wake me up and go out, but disturbed Cat in some way, Hobbes joined in, and in the panic, she just ... let go.  Yep.  For the first time ever she peed in the house, right on the carpet next to my side of the bed.  So yeah, my morning started early and with barking/hissing/meowing, two trips outside, and cleaning the carpet.

Who wants 'em?  I'm giving away the WHOLE FREAKING LOT.  For the low low price of free (I'll even throw in shipping), you get 1 geriatric cranky cat with behavioral peeing and now dog-attacking issues, 1 adult cat with brain-function issues, and 1 geriatric dog with mild separation anxiety and now a victim complex thanks to the cat.  I'll throw in leashes/collars/harnesses and some stinky pet beds, as well.

I've been thinking this as well, and then being thankful that Cat is mostly behaving himself.  I would never have expected an accident from Dot, so it's an entirely new realm for me.  At first I couldn't even figure out what the smell was.  LOL  Dog pee smells different (thankfully) from cat pee.
