Re: WOW - Jessica Simpson
Jenn and Food, Perfect Together
2 things
1-the New Mrs Lachey is somewhere having a big old chuckle about this unflattering photo
2-She signed a deal with Weight Watchers so the worse the BEFORE pictures the better for them. They probably have her on a diet to gain weight right now
I won't tell you how big I looked then.
But there has to be at least one dress that was more flattering than that one for her.
Mainly I judge the shoes. My ankles hurt just looking at her so pregnant wearing those shoes. Ouch.
Yup she signed a deal for Weight Watchers, so the bigger she gets the better it is. She will be looking like Mariah a few months after the baby is born. The thing I don't get if she is supposed to be this big fashion icon, why doesn't she put on clothes that are flattering on her??
Yeah she has GIANT bazumbas and there is no reason to do that to them, she needs some support and to stop making them look like water balloons
I fing weighed as much as my husband when I had Reilly and am a full foot shorter I think I looked like that.
at least she is PG. Some people look like that all the time.
My reaction is more based on her before and after. I mean, like I said, we all gain weight when we're pregnant and I know I'm a biggen now but this is a pretty drastic change. I'm sure some of it is bloat, I'm just saying that she's sure not going along with the celebrity norm for pregnancy.
And that dress is CRAZY. Again, I'm thrilled no one was shooting photos of me when I was 8 months pregnant but girlfriend is a celebrity and is clearly out and about in town so she shouldn't be too surprised to see some paparazzi. I mean no sane pregnant woman wears those shoes unless they intend to be photographed.
a few things....
has she been pg forever or what? it seems like it
that dress is terrible....and it probably cost like $500
I'd crack my head open w/ those heels normally, let alone pg.

I don't think she looks that bad. I think she looks like a normal pregnant woman.
yes, she could stand a more supportive bra and a more flattering dress, but I've seen worse........
That dress is not doing any favors I am sorry, but when your belly is that large you dont need to add extra fabric draped over it. I learned to dress a GIANT belly for 2 pregnancies and I never once wore a dress like that. It made me look enormous. I wore layered fitted tunics or ruched tee shirts, cute vests or cardigans layered, tighter legged pants or leggings, and I even has some super cute skirts made for a big belly. In summer I had really pretty sleeveless shirts with skirts and shorts. If you dont define the belly with something more form fitting, you just look big all over. She can afford the very best of maternity wear and she isnt working with what she has, that length is not flattering on her because she is short and those heels just look silly
so if you look good when PG like that wacko with the blog last month or you look all tired and fat like Jessica here you get tarred and feathered either way on the nest.
Hope those glass houses stand up to the rocks.
Here is the thing, Jessica is this fashion icon. She is on this new show Fashion Star or something. You would think she would put on something more flattering. I thought she was supposed to come out with a maternity line. I looked like a damn hot mess when I was 9 months pg. That's fine, but I am not a fashion icon. If you want someone to buy your clothes and think you have clue about fashion, then wear stuff that looks good, don't walk around looking like a damn hot mess.

So funny, Kelly
Me, too! I thought I looked cute but in reality, I was a hippo. I feel bad for her because I've been that swollen and it was miserable and painful. Her hands are thin compared to what mine looked like At least she doesn't have cankles. I had tree trunks for legs for the last 3 months of my pg.
This! I am envious she can wear heels!! I could only wear one pair of flip flops with DD (July baby) and I pair of Crocs (2 sizes bigger) with DS (February baby).
I judge the ladies who look like that and aren't pregnant
I'm not sure at that size she could find anything super flattering. THe girl is pregnant. I hated what I looked like pregnant and I gained 40 lbs on a 5'7 frame. SHe's like 5'2 or something.
I have a friend who gained 95 lbs with both pg's because she's a huge water retainer- even during her period. People were asking her if she had lip injections she was retaining so much water.
Her face looks normal- it looks like she's doing the best she can with what she's got. I feel bad for her- her weight is always being discussed more than anything else about her.
That's what having a baby girl does to you.
I was very bloated my last 2 months of PG. My crocs were too tight on my feet and I had cankles..it was not pretty at all.
Then it will be all about how "real" women aren't like that only these celebs who have tons of $$ and the means to hire trainers & assistants, etc. :::eye roll:::
