grrrrrrr insurance
so we got a nebulizer for cole. our dr gave it us and my husband said what is the cost oh we will bill insurance. ok great. ok well whoever THEY got it through its considered out of network 284 dollar bill later. f that. we could have bought it on amazon for like 40 bucks and paid for overnight shipping.
my hr lady is fighting it. but i think its total bs. we didn't CHOOSE where it came from nor did we think to ask hey is that place covered. its like going to the hospital and dealing with an ansthesologist iim sorry before you stick taht in me are you in my network or not.

Your doctor also should have known that there was a chance this could have happened too - ours always checks the insurnace and where things are covered. that is annoying, though! Thank god your HR is nice!
ps - i wrote back to you below in your disney post that you paged me..
they are a new dr. so i am not ready to call with guns ablazing just yet. im waiting to see what my HR woman can do. But Im pretty freaking pissed.
