We bought our tickets to Europe ...

I woke up this morning to find an email itinerary of our flights to Europe from DH last night. I am so wicked excited ... we got a great deal out of LAX to Rome with long layovers in Berlin inbound and Dusseldorf outbound.
I wish it was September now so we could leave!!!

Yes, that was me. We ended up getting flights out of LAX for $1074 each on Air Berlin versus directly out of LAS at $1400+ each. The drive to LAX from Las Vegas is easy and we have friends that live near LAX that we can park our car at. We did have to juggle dates a bit to extend the trip out a bit but that is no worries since an extra day or two in Rome works for me
This is my next cruise ... I am dying to go to St. Petersburg, Russia! You will have to let me know how it goes.

Once we started looking at departing from LAX and juggled our days a bit, we found our tickets. It was a fluck for sure but I am happy it happened!
I absolutely will! We're excited to see all of the ports, of course, but we're really going for St. Petersburg
*runs off to check airberlin website* They must have just released more fares because when i was price checking them for November they didnt have any rates published. Am dying to start booking my trip to Germany but im still waiting for concert dates to be announced.

We are cancelling our Med. cruise for this June because we can't get out of Boston for less than $1400 pp, oh well we will rebook for one of these years!
I feel your pain! We were about to cancel ours as well until these fares popped up. I was not going to pay $1400+ per ticket so do not give up hope just yet.
