First of all, thanks for the baby gift!  Not sure if you saw my post on your FB wall or not.

Second, the new pics of Milo on your FB are absolutely precious!

Thirdly, any news on the house?

kthxbye

Re: *Kiki*

  • Oh hey, thanks for the shout out, I hadn't seen the post (blasted FB doesn't send emails any more and the new timeline thingie makes it easier to miss stuff).  I wrote you back!   It was the least I could do.  By the way, we are still using the bibs and burp cloths, they're holding up really well, and are so absorbent!

I know it had been a while since I'd posted pics, and my sister was hounding me for more.  Milo is changing so much... he's scooting now, tries to get everywhere and into everything.  And four teeth!

Ah yes, the house... we're still waiting to hear from the bank, so not much has changed on that front.  In the meantime though, DH and I have been going over our budget and have been calling contractors to get estimates on the work needed.  We're really psyched about the house, but a little nervous that we're biting off more than we can chew.  Or maybe the other way of looking at it is we know it will be a challenge but we're optimistic that we can figure ways to make it all work out.  May mean things being a bit tighter financially, but in the end we think the investment is worth it.  I just don't want to have to worry about money.  We'll be cutting it kind of close.  But in this housing market, I don't think it's going to be much different no matter what we buy.  So why not in a great neighborhood with a good elementary school just down the street?  Our families are behind us, so that makes it better, but it's all still kind of scary.

Sorry that paragraph didn't make a lot of sense.  I think I need some lunch. :)

    Thanks for asking!
