I brought brownies over to my MIL's on Saturday. They were still warm when we were leaving, so I left them in the pan. I just realized that she cut them in my non-stick pan, so now there are deep scratches in my previously unmarred pan. I'm annoyed, but it's not like I can say anything about it. So, I'll vent it here.

They were cherry chocolate chunk.
ugh. I'd be irked as well.
The good news is, you know what to ask for xmas next year (from her) :P

Perfect!
And I won't say anything even in jest, 'cause know she'd feel like crab about it and go buy me a new one. She's great.
Oh goodness, my husband would have LOVED those! Can I get you to share the recipe?

That sucks. I'd be annoyed, too. DH's brother house-sat for us a few months ago and scratched the poo out of my brand-new nonstick skillet.
Just curious, though, how were they supposed to cut the brownies to avoid the scratches?

<--- THIS. I don't know how many times I've told him not to take a knife to it. And DH wonders why I want all our kitchen utensils in plastic or wood.
So Tasty, So Yummy
My ILs would seriously side-eye me if I tried that, smart as it is. They already think my food choices/habits are pretty foo-foo and fussy.

I brought a serving platter, so I was going to wedge them out with a spatula then cut. I also figured they might flip out once they cooled.
