I'd totally be up for making some cloth diapers! I can't pretend I'm a pro at it, but I have made a couple that appear to be holding up decently :-) Congrats on the twins news!

Thanks! Twins will need a LOT of diapers. We might see about doing a CD diaper service for the first couple weeks, then switching to doing our own.
I would love to learn. I have sewing experience, but have never made a CD. Whatever you have learned would definitely help! I would love to meet up any time

That would be awesome! I was planning to buy some from mamamade anyway to see how the really good ones are put together, but not sure if I am ready to purchase many just yet (also, I keep missing when she posts new ones or I don't try and buy soon enough and she sells the ones I really like).

Absolutely! If you work a regular workweek, Sundays are the best days for me, but I do have some days during the week too. Do you know what kind of diapers you want to make yet? (Or, maybe a better question, have you figured out what all those CD acronyms mean? It's so confusing!). We have 2 Mamamade AI2s and love them, but I haven't gotten up the courage to try to make an AI2 yet. Maybe we could tackle one together! I've made a lot of fitteds and feel pretty good about those. The materials you'll need will depend on what kind of diaper you want to make, so we can talk about that when you know what you want to make.

I guess I am willing to try making all kinds. I have no idea yet which ones I would prefer at all and the CD acronyms are all foreign to me. Seems I need to do some research!
Sundays work for me if those are your easiest and free days. I work from home, sewing, so pretty much free all the time. Maybe I should start with the easiest one; at least one that you've made a tried out with success. It would be fun to tackle something new, too. You can test it out!
Maybe I should go to a CD store and get to know more about them before we have our sewing day. That would probably help me understand a ton.
