What's Bugging You Wednesday?
What's bugging you today?
I am annoyed that my bosses (who know I'm going out of town as of next Friday) have been piling on work. I have so much stuff to get done and most of it needs to be done before I leave for vacation. I guess I'm just going to have to prioritize and make sure that I get the most important things done, and let them know that I'll finish the rest of it when I get back!
Oh well....

Having to fight my boss for any days off I need. If this continues I will not be there very long.... I don't ask for things often for days off but darn it when I ask I need the day it isn't like I am just asking to go get my nails done.
This is a stupid one but here it goes anyways...
That Snookie is pregnant.... I know this is a stupid thing to bug me but she bugs me. I think the main thing that bugs me is that when and if DH and I decide to have kids I know its going to be majorly difficult to get pregnant so when I see the wrong people getting pregnant it bugs me. End rant sorry haha.
Snookie is pregnant?!?!?! I had no idea.... geesh...

My MIL is wanting to come over on Thursday to play with James which is fine except she "thinks she has the flu". Ummm please don't bring your germs over to infect my house/baby thankyouverymuch. This is the same woman who is heading to Chicago to visit her 6wk old grandson this weekend....I sincerely hope she doesn't have the flu.
But really, what is wrong with people? If you are sick stay home away from everyone, especially infants.
Oh geeze... I hope she desides to stay home...

But I won't be surprised if she has her own spin-off show because of the offspring..
This wouldn't surprise me at all.....

I'm upset with myself for being grouchy because I'm not feeling well. It's really unnecessary and it looks gross outside.
Can everything just be sunshine and smiles again?
ME TOO.
Oh here's something that randomly bugs me...
Our apartment complex can deposit our checks before the date on the check. I always have money in our checking when I write the check (that'd be silly if I didn't) but I write the checks for the first of the month and they deposit it before then. I don't know why but I'm really irked by this.

FYI - it's perfectly legal/acceptable for banks to accept postdated checks. If you want them to cash it on the first, then don't give it to them until the first. Otherwise they can/will cash the postdated check when it's received.
Well, I mail it a few days before so it will get there before the 1st (checks received after the 1st have an additional $50 fee). And I used to work at the credit union and were not allowed to deposit checks more than 1-day before the date on the check. I mean, I guess it's nice because the money can clear from my account but still.
I was just letting you know there's nothing "wrong" with what they are doing. Some banks/CUs have their own policies about postdated checks but there's no single rule against it. I'm willing to bet your apartment complex doesn't even really look at the date. Depending on how many units they have with rent payments coming in they probably just glance at the amount and deposit it with a big batch of checks.
Out of curiosity, why don't you just date it for whatever day you write it out?
I totally agree that they don't even look at it.
I honestly don't know. I guess I write "march 1st" so I know it's March's rent check, even though if it said February 28, I would know it's still for March, lol
OMG! Really? I thought that whole thing was a rumor?? I had no idea. Oh geesh- she is the last person on this earth that should be a parent. Not to mention as much as she drinks, I can't even imagine- poor baby!
Bottom line, there are some people in this world not meant to have kids, her being one of them lol
I have 2 today:
#1: I'm frustrated with myself. I am completely lacking motivation and I am getting really frustrated with it. I have a bunch of stuff I need to do and I keep being lazy instead. I swear it's the weather
#2: MIL's boss somehow got it in his head that H & I are expecting and went ahead and told a few people that we "got pregnant on the honeymoon and are expecting in August, but we haven't told anyone because we're just out of the first trimester" WTF?! What is hilarious is he told his wife and his wife sent MIL a congratulations card...
And to clear the air: NO we are not pregnant, no we are not trying, and no it will not be for a while until we have a baby
Ummmm WTF?! That is seriously not cool. Has anyone mentioned this to him? Did MIL tell him this?
Hahaha, this is ridiculous!

MIL cleared the air with the wife, and she went back to her H to tell him. What cracked me up was, why would you send MIL a card and not the one expecting??
Whaaaat? She should not be reproducing. Sheesh.
Okay, there are so many of your responses where I was thinking "that bugs me too" so I can't respond to each one. But seriously! This is a good day for WBY Wed apparently!
My frustration today is that we ordered a fridge from Best Buy. They say "free installation." Then I call to schedule delivery and she says I need to go buy a $20 connector kit and it's only free if we already have a water line, otherwise its $130. Okay, we have a water line, so just $20. I asked her if there was anything else to do and she said no.
Fast forward to this morning, fridge shows up, delivery guy asks me is the old fridge already disconnected, which its not since it has MY FOOD in it. Then he says he's not supposed to go to the basement to turn off the water line, but he will. THEN he says oh I can't turn off the main line, only the fridge line, and since that's in the crawl space I can't do that either. So they left my new fridge in the middle of the kitchen. Oh, and as the icing on the cake they managed to get mud and filth not only on the floors but on the KITCHEN COUNTER. They laid their tools down and they were seriously muddy and gross. I am.not.pleased.
That is ridiculous. I'd be calling the store manager to complain and getting someone out there to finish the job and clean up their mess.
Exactly. I can somewhat understand them not wanting to move the old fridge (if they were only expecting to install the new one) BUT you can't be the first person to do that. Plus, the mess thing is ridiculous.
