Bakers--a question about cake balls
So I'm making cake pops for Hannah's birthday party, and I baked the cake today. It came out pretty dry.
So my question is, will that make a noticeable difference once the frosting is mixed in? It still tastes great, thankfully.
Re: Bakers--a question about cake balls
I have one, but I have only used it for brownie pops. I would prefer this type of "cake ball" over the smooshed frosting kind. I am not a fan of the smooshed frosting kind.
I've been so annoyed ever since they made those machines. Baking a cake in the shape of a ball does not equal cake ball, IMO. I say it's cake in the shape of a ball, NOT a cake ball.
cake in the shape of a ball sounds like it should be called a "cake nugget".
i like cake balls made with some cream cheese in the frosting mix too, makes them not as crazy sweet.
my photography blog
Yeah, I'm making these with homemade cream cheese frosting, leaving out some of the sugar, because of that.
