How did you adjust your BC for another timezone?
I usually take my birth control around 11:pm right before I go to bed. I'll be spending two weeks in Europe (6 hours difference for Paris/Amsterdam) and I'm really confused about adjusting it, especially around flying there and back.
Re: How did you adjust your BC for another timezone?
Honestly, unless you want to wake up at 5am your local Europe time, while you're there I would just take it when you wake up or when you go to bed.
Although, I don't take mine at the same time everyday here in the US. I just take it before dinner, which varies from 5:30p-8:30p

Honestly, in the 20+ years I took BC I never took it a specific time. I just took it when I got up in the morning regardless of when I got up. So when I travelled I still took it when I got up regardless of time-zone.
I guess if I was someone who took it at the exact same time I would at take it when I would take it back home. Although it would kind of suck getting up at 6 am.
That's not true, or at least it depends on your pill whether it's true or not.
I'd take it when you wake up. I wouldn't wake up at 5am just to keep everything the same, but shifting it to a few hours later would be good enough for me.

Agreed. I moved my time to a time when I could take it both locally and internationally.
My doc is pretty adamant that it be taken at the same time ( or within the hour everyday) . For my brand she told me if I'm more than an hour late, to just take it the next day. Taking it at different times has caused spotting for me in the past so I made sure to adjust before I leave.
I would take it in the morning. Honestly I rarely bother to adjust but that's because 90% of the time if I'm changing time zones it means I'm not going to have sex for a few weeks.
i just take it at the same time i do at home-in the AM when I'm getting ready for the day. never bothered adjusting and I'm still (thankfully) kid free so it must've worked
