Dh and I are planning to fly into Fort Lauderdale mid-April, rent a car and drive down the coast to the Keys. We have a week. We'd like the first night to be in FLL area, at lease a night in Miami and at lease a night in Key West.
We're going to go air boating outside Miami, but other than that, our week is open. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any neat places to see, things to do, restaurants that need to be visited along the way. Maybe some good beaches with parking?
TIA!

Re: Florida Ideas
One day, hopefully sooner than later, I want to do this:

I want to do that super bad! My cousins went last summer & camped out in/on the Dry Tortugas for the weekend. So cool.
DH and I did the trip out to the dry tortugas and fort jefferson a few years ago and it was awesome! I kind of wished we had camped out for the night there too. It is worth every penny!
Great to know!
