And any other Mommies of curly haired babies, Molly was the only one I could think of.

What do you do with her hair?  I feel like B's hair always looks like a frizzy mess! DH says no hair gel because he's so young....and would touch his hair then put his hands in his mouth.  Am I just going to have to deal with a fro until he's bigger?

maybe coconut oil would calm down the hair a bit. Safe for baby and great for everything

Molly rocks the Afro on the regular. The less we wash it the better it looks, but she's a typical dirty toddler so it's usually every other day. We brush it out while it's wet and that helps too. Brushing when it's dry only makes the Afro bigger. It's finally getting long enough to pull the front over to the side and clip it, but she won't leave anything in her hair, and that won't help you with B either. I don't think Molly's hair has the texture for oil, but if B's does it might be an option. 

I think I need to see an updated picture of B's curly locks!

Julia's hair isn't as curly as Molly's, but it definitely has curl in it. We use Johnson & Johnson's curl shampoo. It comes in a blue bottle, they have it at our local Wal-Mary & Target but I had never noticed it until someone told me to look for it. It really helps with her frizz. I've also found that it helps to brush it when it's wet otherwise its just a mess (like today bc DH bathed her after I was in bed last night!).
