having a bad mommy day - just getting it out.

i'm sick, exhausted and just worn out. Landon decided to give me trouble this morning putting on his shoes and jacket before school. after arguing and me yelling at him to act like a big boy and quit the whining, he ended up crying in the car the whole way to school wearing flip flops ad his jacket unzipped because he refused to do it. we get to school and the teacher tells me i need to bring sneakers because flip flops aren't acceptable for school. fine. i go home get the shoes, bring them back to school and then realize that Owen hadn't eaten breakfast yet so i got him a donut from DD. get home, no patience left, feeling bad about yelling at Landon, get the kids out of the car and find that Owen has given half of his donut to Ellie who is happily squeezing it between her fingers, sucking all the pink frosting off and has bits of chewed and spit out pieces all over her and the car seat. my forgotten oatmeal was cold, i'm out of k-cups, have my period and my bra is annoying me.

i need a do over.

ok thanks, that is all.
