Looking up potential dates - sites?
After reading doriswe's post about looking up someone BEFORE meeting them, got me thinking:
What are some sites to check out the person in question?
Ive discovered white lies along the way (age, divorce date, etc) about people, but I wonder if I had done this PRIOR to meeting them, if I would have at all
What else are they lying about?
If you have any sites, post them here.

Sex Offenders site:

Public Records CA:

You can just google their name and city to see if they are in the news as well... I went on three dates with a guy before I googled him and found that he had been arrested from stealing $100,000 from his employer which happened to be a grocery store where he was a cashier. Apparently he didn't work on wall street like he claimed!
I'm in Wisconsin and we have CCAP which lists any charges against them. Wisconsin also has a registered sex offender website I check. I also look at Facebook and stuff to get a good idea of who they are.
I tend to be pretty cautious about people since I spent some time working at probation and parole and know the kinds of crazies out there.
I think most states have some sort of online court records something or another. I think googling "court records" and "your state" should work. Wisconsin is free, but I've heard that some have pay sites.
I was chatting with a guy who told me his name and the town he lived in (close to me). By just getting that info, I found him on FB, then did the court records search where I found a decade of not paying child support and lots of court stuff for baby mama drama. Since his youngest is only 3, I realized there is no way I could sign on to that sort of thing and cut ties.
