Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Someone to fix a lamp in Loudoun?
I have a lamp that I need rewired. Has anyone had this done in Loudoun county area (or western FFX) and can recommend someone?

This is probably to far to go but there's a store in Fair Lakes that does this. I forgot the name but it's right next to the Hallmark store. It's in the same strip mall as target, walmart, petsmart, toys r us.
We've used them to have a lamp rewired that my dog had chewed. They did good work and it wasn't that pricey.
Oh, I wish I'd posted this earlier then! DH and I were out that way over the weekend.
Funny you say that about the dog--that's what happened last time. I was able to rewire it myself with a kit from Lowes, but shocked myself in the process. And went into labor the next day! So, I promised DH I wouldn't try it again.
