dropped a diamond earring down one of those metal heater vents at your house how would you get it out? I did this a few nights ago and we can't seem to find it. We vacuumed the general carpet thinking maybe it bounced and we just couldn't find it with our hands, but no luck it appears to really be down the vent.
Any other ideas? So mad at myself!!! These were my 30th birthday gift.
Re: If you accidentally...
Ugh.
Can you clean the vacuum out really well, then take of the vent and shove the hose down in there and see if you can blindly suck it up and fish it out of the stuff that comes out of the vent?

Eat, Drink, and be Keri
That was my next plan of action. Maybe we will get lucky...if not I can totally just rock one earring right?
Growing Up Olson
Remove the metal vent grate, put a nylon stocking or sock over the vacuum hose, then pick it up with that.
Wow, filing that away for another day. Great advice!
