I have at least three more coming up. I've seen my regular doctor, a dentist, a dermatologist, and today a gynecologist.
The gyn appointment went well, but she has a few referrals for me, one of them being Stanford, which is great.
But man...I'm sick of medical offices and sick of doctors. I'm starting to realize just how much my health has declined and it's scary. I still have to see the rheumatologist, so that's next. Then the Stanford doctors and most likely an endocrinologist.
Also, I made the gyn cry! She was all "all you've been through and all your medical issues and you're still such a sweet, pleasant person" and then she got all teary eyed.
I know that I need to see the rheumatologist ASAP, but I kind of want to hold off for a month. I need a break from doctors for a minute.
Re: In one month, I have seen four different doctors.
I heart you, too. Admit it...I only make you teary eyed when I don't wear makeup. I should at least wear some foundation.
Boo. No being mean to you.
April 9th, is that right?
Uh....yes! I was all confused for a second. I was like "nooo, my birthday is April 15" and then I was like "Oooooh!".
So, yes. April 9th
I do have a Kindle and I use it all the time. Luckily, my wait times are usually five minutes or less. I'm super in love with the medical offices I go to. It's all one company in a bunch of different buildings and locations, so they can hop on a computer and immediately see my medications and previous appointment information. I can also message my doctors any time and they respond within an hour usually and view upcoming appointments and all that. It's so amazing and easy.
I think I consider it a freaking miracle if I wait less than 10. We have been to appointments that have been running over an hour behind. All H's docs are surgeons and I've learned never to get an afternoon appt after a surgery morning.
Your medical offices do sound pretty awesome! Especially being able to view upcoming appts.
I adore them and I adore my insurance. So far I haven't had a single copay for medication or visits.
This makes me think of the Hangover

~~PAIF/SAIF Welcome~~
I know the feeling!
I have been to 3 different doctors within a month, and I have my dental cleaning/checkup in 2 weeks! My deductible has been met for the year already, which is bad on my wallet but I guess good for anything else that comes up the rest of the year.
