1) i am SO sorry to hear all the crap that your going through. as lauren said how are you not a ranging alchohalic.
2) my douchebag uncle and aunt and uncle have been awarded grandparent visitation rights. but there situation was VERY convaluded. my cousin knocked up a girl and then got sent to jail. she wasn't letting them see her. she made stuff up saying that they hurt her all this stuff (as much as i despise my uncle he would never ever ever hurt that little girl) well they went the mediation route she didn't comply and it went to court. it took a REALLY long time and my aunt and uncle had a lot to prove. basically they where trying to prove that the girl was in good hands with them 2 weekends a month. (this chick is young and already has another kid and totally works the system) honestly in your situation i don't think a judge is going to award itto them. and they will have a TON of hoops to jump through.
i knwo the whole process cost them a TON of money and took a really long time
i agree with what hooker/kelly said don't engage their threats. and document document document.
your not a bad parent and your not KEEPING your kids from your parents but your asking for realistic boundaries. unless they get an amazing amazing lawyer i think they won't get their and honestly i don't think it will get past mediation.
if you want i can reach out to my aunt and uncle and get more details. i am not exactly on good terms with them but i can have my mom get the run down or for your sake i'd even talk to them myself. you should considre yourself lucky

I actually do wonder if they'll go through with it, but my brother says they have been saying it for awhile. If they did it, they'd be out of my life forever.
