I should never doubt B

and his thunder storm sensing skills. He ran and hid under DH's chair in the family room, which is what he does when a storm is coming. I didn't hear anything and went to check on him. He came out and about 5 minutes later, there was some loud thunder and he ran back under the chair.

How does he know?

  • I heard that enormous thunder clap in Arnold.  It was HUGE!!!

My dog does the same thing.........she was shaking for half an hour before the big rain came.  I think it has to do with barometric pressure---they sense the change.

When the thunder came she jumped on the couch with me and shook until the storm passed.  She does this every time it rains.  Poor thing.

  • Jeez, what time was the thunder? I dont recall hearing it. Our basement flooded though.

Our dog is the worst natural process alerter. Even during that earthquake last summer she barely lifted her head until I got up off the couch. Thunder storms? Not a problem. Plastic bags blowing across the street? Apocolypse, clearly.
