Marshmallow & Whipped Cream Vodkas
Anyone tried these? I spent a good 10 minutes staring at the bottles today, but didn't pull the trigger. Did I make a mistake?
The Smirnoff varieties were on sale, if that makes a difference.

I'm sorry, but that sounds absolutely foul.
Think about it this way. Everything they are putting in the vodka to make is taste like a "marshmallow" or "whipped cream"- is a chemical. It could not be more unnatural and bad for you.
Why not just go buy a natural cream soda and mix it with vodka over on ice if you're looking for something sweet?
This response makes me wonder if I could infuse vodka with marshmallows just like I have with fruit and chocolate
Ok.... I probably shouldn't admit this but the whipped cream vodka is SO popular in DH's family! My SIL's cousin brought it to the lake over the summer and got everyone hooked on it, especially the girls. I don't like real whipped cream so I won't touch the stuff. But they mix it with cream soda and basically go to heaven. LOL
I have tried the marshmallow one and liked it. (Both Pinnacle and Smirnoff and I don't remember which one I liked.)
But I quoted torrey because that's a very good point. (Although I drink liquor of any kind so rarely that at that point everything I eat and drink is going to be bad for me anyway.)

I like the marshmallow in s'mores martinis, the cookie dough with chocolate milk, the cake with cherry limeade, and the cotton candy is okay with club soda. Not a huge fan of the whipped because i don't like whipped cream and the favors definitely taste as close to the real thing as vodka could!
Ooh and the gummi bear is probably the craziest one because it even leaves the aftertaste of gummi bears and it's good with club soda buy I haven't figured out another way to drink it.
Welp, I sound like an alc. swear I'm not, I just pretty mug only drink vodka when I'm drinking liquor!

I bartend at the restaurant my DH runs and I have tried both and like both.
I have added both to a chocolate martini and it's delicious. I have added both to white russians and love this! I have made a dreamsicle martini out of the whipped cream one and it's a big hit at the restaurant. You can make a s'moretini out of the marshmallow one. I know Smirnoff has the recipe with Godiva and baileys and that is pretty good. As for the marshmallow one, I haven't played around with it enough to make a good drink that I like yet.
Yes you can, it's soooo good. I've made it once following this method: http://mixthatdrink.com/marshmallow-vodka-infusion/
I know some people who are obsessed with whipped cream vodka + gingerale. I tried it and didn't think it was anything special. I've wondered about the marshmallow one but I can't wrap my head around how it would taste like a marshmallow, and not just sweet/vanilla-y, you know? Kind of like how DD had marshmallow flavored syrup for their coffee for a short period a few years ago. I tried it once and didn't think it tasted like, well, marshmallows.
And by the way. COOKIE DOUGH VODKA? How did I now know that existed?! omg. That I want to try!
I think they are super sweet but we usually have a bottle of Pinnacle on hand for girls' night shots. I think the sweetness makes them easier to take than regular vodka shots now that we are old ladies
I haven't tried them in flavored martinis or with mixers but the s'mores martini sounds awesome, chemicals and all!

wow. I am honestly shocked at how many of you like this stuff!!! You have opened my eyes to a whole new thing- although I would never buy/try it. I kinda like my alcohol in it's natural state- although I don't drink liquor or beer. Just wine. Bordeaux preferably.
it's fing awesome....I was daydreaming about cookie dough vodka before I read this post...only problem is you can really only drink it as a shot or straight up
This is what I do. I buy the airplane bottles of the orange whipped cream, chocolate whipped cream, or regular whipped cream to add to baileys, hot chocolate, or orange juice.
