Do any of you have Hamilton Beach kitchen appliances?
A slow cooker specifically?
I guess I'm an appliance-snob, but I usually view them as cheap models since you can find them next to the cake mixes at the grocery store. It's never occurred to me to buy one - I usually buy Cuisinart or Kitchenaid.
Anyway, I need a new 6qt slow cooker (I broke my Rival) and there's a Hamilton Beach on amazon that earned 4.5 stars (700+ reviewers) and it's cheaper than replacing the one I had...
Just looking for input/experiences!
Re: Do any of you have Hamilton Beach kitchen appliances?
I have one and I love it!! I think I paid $40 at target for it.
PIE had a cuisinart that I used once...the pot was cracked and when I called for a replacement, they gave me a hard time because it was a shower gift and I didn't have a receipt and it was out of warranty.
my mom has their blender and has had it for years.
most of my stuff is cuisuinart. i'll check tonight when i go home

i think our hand mixer is hamilton beach, i never considered them cheap because they aren't really much cheaper.
But i just read an article and i THINK it said that Rival has dangerous levels of lead in their crockpots, but Hamilton Beach does not. I will look for the article.....
yep- hamilton beach is better than rival in terms of lead at least
