Would I look like a psycho if...
I put stickers on the doors of my car (those big one's) that promote my studio?
Re: Would I look like a psycho if...
I think it would be okay if you are willing to do it!
You might get a few weirdo callers, though, who might see you and think you are cute. Sometimes I think about calling someone in a prank fashion when I see they are consulantants with their numbers all over their cars, just because I am silly like that and sometimes they are asking for it.
Luckily, I am a practicing weirdo, so I guess I will do it! Getting my name out there is the most important thing right now.
Thank god for my friends in marketing!
Exactly while I say doooooo it
When I worked for a sign company, we would make ones that were magnets so you could take them off when you want. Otherwise, they'll do vinyl lettering right on the door...it is a biitch to get off.
Like Jenny said, free marketing - do it!
Yeah, I think these are just big magnets. I am such a dork.
I say go for it!
A warning, though: I had a Ravens magnet on my car just during football season, so like Aug-Dec and you can see where it used to be after I took it off. I don't know whether it's the paint fading around it or salt or what, but it didn't wash off.
Crappity-crap! That is what I am worried about. My car is a lease, so if there is anything wrong with it when we turn it in, we have to pay for it.
I would definitely do it, but a couple words of warning.
1) Make sure you clean it regularly. Take it off and clean the car and the back. H didn't do this for awhile and it caused the paint to do something weird under one of the magnets. Something about moisture being trapped, or something along those lines (I wasn't listening when the sign guy explained it to him).
2) We haven't had this happen personally, but my step-dad did. If you are on the highway, depending on how strong the magnet is, you might want to take it off. If they aren't completely sealed then you run the risk of it flying off when you're going above 70 or so.
But other than that, I think car amgnets are a great marketing tool.
I did not do this, so that's probably why mine didn't work out so well!
Thanks for the tips!
That is a good idea!
I heart you.
Don't make me love you even more!
It's sterile and it tastes good!
In person I'd now laugh so forcefully something would probably shoot out of my nose.
That was going to be my suggestion! Windows seem like they'd be easier to clean a decal off of.
I would just hire a sign twirler
dont chnce srewing up your car
I third this.
