Any good restaurants in E Hanover on Rt 10?

We are going to be at some funplex/climbing gym and plan to get dinner afterwards. Any suggestions? Maybe a good Italian place?

We like Panevino's - I think it's in Livingston but very close to E. Hanover.

there is macaroni grill - altho i personally wouldnt classify that as good. if u go further up rt 10 west in livingston there is panevino. much bettter

also there is chili's right next to macaroni grill. thats really all i can think of

They're primarily chains - macaroni grill, chili's, etc. Panevino is decent - it's on the opposite side of 10 from Funplex, up on the Livingston line. Not sure how they are with kids at night - I've only been there with coworkers and don't remember ever seeing kids.  if you go up 10 East into Livingston on the circle, there's a new Mexican place, Margaritas (in the old Houlihan's space), which is surprisingly good and has good drinks. We've gone there with kids and it's totally appropriate (esp on the non-bar side of the restaurant).

I'm actually sitting in my car across from funplex right now . But I would 2nd margaritas...it's most fun for the kids, and the food is pretty good. All the others are applebees, fridays, chilis, olive garden (the worst one in the universe!) Macaroni grille, there is a sushi place a little up in whippany, and there is actually a decent mexican place right next to fun plex...I can't remember the name though! And there is godfatjers pizza.

I'd second Godfather's Pizza. There are 2 side to the place, a pizza joint and then a sit down dinner restaurant. Either are great for families. Personally I love Don Jose's Mexican in the same strip mall as Godfather's. They're in the Home Depot shopping center. HTH G

Love Don Jose in the Home Depot shopping center...it's a Mexican restaurant and there are kids in there all the time--especially for early dinners.

There's also a chinese buffet (Royal Buffet?) across the parking lot near Marshalls.

ha godfathers hands down! yumm! they have the best Penne Alla Vodka!!! and definitely kid friendly
