Are you f'ing kidding me...
Not only did I get my period this morning, but...
About 15 hours after I quit my job that I LOVE for the one that's full-time, the mom of the new job calls me and tells me that her friend offered to watch the kids for free, so they don't want to hire me after all.
And my current job that I told I was leaving yesterday after stressing about it for a week and a half already found a new nanny who they knew was looking from Gymboree class, so they feel sad to lose me but they want to keep the new nanny starting in April since they know I'm looking for a full-time job eventually.
F***!!!!!!!
I just want to curl up in a heap and cry for the rest of the day.

WTF on the full time job!! You don't do that to people!
Sorry about AF too. Stupid AF.
Mama's Gonna Buy You A Mockingbird
No more baby siggie pics. Boo.
I can't believe someone would do that, how terrible!!
Sorry about AF showing up.
Growing Up Olson
Seriously, who does that to someone? I hope that karma comes around and bites that woman in the a$$ big time.
An even more incredible opportunity must be headed your way!
Until then, big hugs, Z!

This is what I'm trying to tell myself; that she would probably have turned out to be a b!tch to work for if she's willing to totally screw me over.
I didn't tell the second family I'm with yet, so I won't be completely unemployed if I don't find something else, but I can't stand working for them and am miserable every second I'm there (the mom works from home and is crazy), so that's not a long-term solution, plus it's still part-time so I'd be making even less than I'm making now.
Thanks for the support, everyone!

Oh no! This is an awful day! Sorry that AF is here (I was praying she would stay away for you!) And I can't believe they would take your job away right after you put in your notice... who does that?
Fingers are crossed that you find a new and full time job soon!
PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.

That is so rude! Who does that?
Sorry.
I have a friend in Stapleton that just had twin girls that is considering a nanny in one or two months. she may not be able to pay your rates (not sure what price range she's looking for and what you charge), but I can get you connected if you are interested.

Oh no! That is horrible. I agree with the other ladies - you dodged a bullet!
If you're interested in part-time, let me know.
Hopefully great things are around the corner.
