I kept seeing this floating around Pinterest and finally decided to try it since I don't currently have anything similar in my recipe card rotation. I made this for dinner last night and I'm in LOVE!
Hawaiian BBQ Chicken, rice, asparagus side dish, and Kings Hawaiian sub rolls. Top it off with a Margarita and a TV tray in front of Survivor and it was the perfect weeknight dinner!
It was so easy - put 4-6 frozen chicken breasts in the crock pot, cover with Archer Farms (Target's store brand) Hawaiian BBQ Sauce, and top with a can of Pineapple Chunks, drained. Cook 2-3 hours on High, or 4-6 on Low.
For the rice I just made minute rice and seasoned with some ground ginger and hot red pepper. The asparagus was steamed on the stove top, then add halved grape tomatoes, olive oil, & grated parm. H used the King's Hawaiian rolls to make mini sliders with the chicken, I just buttered them and ate as a roll. Delish! Highly recommend!
