Shout-out to Starbucks!
I bought a tall coffee there on Sunday. $1.77. I know this, I always get a tall coffee. I was looking at my bank statement today and saw I was charged $2.09. only $0.32 but I hear these fraud stories all the time where supposedly cards get charged for different amounts so I called Starbucks and told the person on the phone that I was there, got the tall coffee but the price didn't look right. Without skipping a beat she said "oh, you got charged for a grande by accident. next time you come in, we'll give you a free coffee, or adjust the price of your next purchase, whatever you want." How awesome is she? Didn't ask my name, nothing, verify that was where I made the purchase, just took me at my word and said she'd fix it. I heart Starbucks! I probably won't even mention it when I'm there, I just love that she wanted to do right!
