Newborn Cloth Diapers

My DD is now 6lbs 13oz.  I started a trial of newborn CDs from The Giggling Green Bean.  Which CDs did you prefer for your newborn?  Once she is a little bigger we will use One Size fits all diapers.  TIA!

I used the prefolds with Thirsties covers. Will use them again with #2. When we started daycare at 12 weeks, we did fitteds with covers. i loved the Bum Genius Bamboo fitteds we used, but they discontinued them before we got through buying all of the sizes, so we've been using the Thirsties fitteds. I don't like their duos as much as their S, M, L sized ones, but that's what they are selling these days.

My favorite NB ones were kissaluvs size 0. Those worked perfectly for us with both kids until they fit in our BG/OS dipes.

Another vote for prefolds and Thirsties covers.  I actually have some Thirsties covers in the smaller size and some duo wraps size one as well as some kissaluvs size 0 and newborn sized prefolds that I need to get rid of...

My favorites from birth through now (DS2 is 13lbs at 3.5 months) are prefolds and covers (Thirsties or Rumparooz).  I like the jellyroll fold best.  I tried Lil Joeys, Thirsties Duo Diaper size 1, GroVia NB and Organic Caboose fitteds and the prefolds were my favorites.  DH won't use prefolds, so for him, the Thirsties Duo Diapers would be the favorite.  Lil Joeys only fit for a short time and he started peeing through them pretty quickly.  GroVia NBs are cute and fit well, but they wick around the legs really easily (poor design, IMO).  Organic Caboose fitteds were fine, but it seemed like he soaked those more quickly than the prefolds and he grew out of them quickly.  He was 8lbs2oz at birth though, so you may get more use out of NB diapers than I did.
