Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Another vent about my 'hood
Last night I heard police sirens getting closer and closer to my house. I figured, eh nothing new, until I looked out the window and saw what looked to be my neighbors house on fire! Five police cars showed up and started banging on people's doors to get them to move their vehicles parked on the street away from the flames. Then 2 firetrucks showed up, and put out the blaze. Turns out their house wasn't on fire, but a beat-up old van in their driveway right in front of their house was. I was relieved that it wasn't their house, but still pretty scared. No one was hurt, and they towed away the burnt-up van. Just another reason why I can't stand living here anymore!

Do you think it was arson?
I live in a quiet town and I think there are fires everyday from the emails I get from the city. It's mostly people being dumb (candle, cigarette....)
I don't know. I called the police department today and they said they are still investigating, but most likely it was just a result of an engine fire.
