It's funny...I was just having this discussion with some of my daughter's school mom friends and they were all saying it's impossible to host and/or attend parties on Saturdays and that they much preferred Sundays. I think it's because once your child is in elementary school, all their sporting activites fall on Saturdays making it impossible to schedule parties around all of that. They all commented that their Sunday parties are so much better attended, which has definitely always been the case for me as well. (I'm careful to plan the party AFTER church time...usually around either 2 or 3).
