Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Announcing Some Board Changes
Hullo fellow BNOTB'ers!
The Nest moderators have been notified by Nest Kathleen that some new updates will be implemented on the boards this week. Starting this evening, some of The Nest and The Bump message boards will be on a new platform (it will be very similar to the platform The Knot is on, if you want to go there to check it out!). The local boards will switch first, and then the other boards in the next few weeks.
-Local boards will have tabs that link to The Knot, The Nest, and The Bump to make visiting local boards on all three sites easier -Left navigation drop down will include all boards for easy access, but can be minimized if you don?t want to see all boards at once. -New ?Threads I?m Watching? feature to keep your recently viewed/posted threads available for you.AND..................
Moderators will be able to ban and/or delete spammers, vendors, solicitors (like for a dumb contest), as well as blatant TOS violators who use EXTREMELY offensive lanaguage, make racist remarks or display nudity.
I assure you that disagreements between users or general conflicts are not bannable offenses, so please feel free to carry on with those types of shenanigins. lol
The moderator assigned to a particular board will be the only moderator that will be able to ban and/or delete. For example a moderator from FM couldn't come over to BNOTB to ban a spammer. The NG's are also working on getting at least one moderator on all of the major boards, so if you're interested in moderating a board that currently is moderator-less, please contact me and I'll pass it on to NK.
