Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Changes, mods, and such
Hi ladies (and JM). So, apparently there are a bunch of changes that are going to happen to the format of TN...ESD (TIP mod) summarized them over on TIP, if you're curious (http://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/63919919.aspx). But one that jumped out at me is that mods are only going to be able to edit their own board, not all of them. This could be an issue, given that I've never actually seen our mod post on this board, and we wouldn't be able to have someone else come to our rescue. ESD said that she can ask the Nest gods to change our moderator, if we had someone in mind. So with that, please suggest who you think would be a good mod. It should be someone who's on here frequently enough to keep up with it. Feel free to nominate yourself.

Oh and I forgot to add that the new format SUCKS! It is so messy. Too many things going on.

As for the mod, I was always curious as to why/how she became mod if she is never here.

Yes Yes Yes! I was terrified of the 'like" and "tweet" buttons. It is way too personal on here and seemed like an easy button to accidently hit.
